Padbury Utd 0, Oxford City 9: Oxford City enjoyed a goal feast in their Spartan South Midland League Challenge Trophy tie at Padbury on Saturday.
None relished the spree more than defender Andy Marriott who scored a second-half hat-trick.
It took just 45 seconds for City to open the scoring when Ray Spence netted.
A minute late, Luke Brandon saw his first effort blocked, but he scored at the second time of asking to make it 2-0.
It took another four minutes for the third goal, when Spence got behind the Padbury defence for his second.
After 14 minutes, a good cross from Brandon came to Spence who was denied by Tony Draper's save, but Harry Burnley followed up to score.
Omar Takriti's centre gave Danny Keen the chance to get on the scoresheet for No 5 after 22 minutes.
Burnley nodded home the sixth in the 34th minute, and City could have reached double figures by the interval if their finishing had been more clinical.
After the break, it was left to Marriott to earn the plaudits with goals in the 54th, 80th and 90th minutes.
City keeper Carl Wilkins was a spectator, not having to make a single save.
Oxford City: Wilkins, Takriti, Steedman, Marritt, Marriott, Durrant (Doyle 69), Brandon, Brandish, Keen (Hartley 56), Spence (Pitsun 69), Burnley. Sub not used: Roper.
