GLS Football Hellenic League - Bishops Cleeve 3, North Leigh 1: North Leigh's 100 per cent record at the top of the Premier Division was ended in no uncertain fashion by Bishops Cleeve skipper Andy Tucker on Saturday.
Tucker destroyed North Leigh's six-game winning start to the season with a first-half hat-trick to maintain his own side's unblemished record after three games.
Things looked great for North Leigh after eight minutes when they took the lead with a Liam Hope penalty after Justin Miller had been felled as he controlled Simon Futcher's pinpoint cross.
A goal-bound Gary Murphy shot following a North Leigh corner was blocked, before Tucker took control with an 18-minute hat-trick with two headers and a follow-up shot.
North Leigh missed several chances in the second half, including a stoppage-time penalty, awarded following a challenge on Andy McCabe, which led to Cleeve's Kacey Johnstone being sent off for dissent.
This time Hope was thwarted by a diving save by Cleeve keeper Jon Skeen
Witney United 7, Henley Town 1: Lee Keyes scored a hat-trick as Witney United produced a devastating display.
Even without the injured Dave Tregurtha, Witney raced into a 4-0 interval lead with Keyes netting either side of a brace from former Oxford United player Jamie Cook, the second being a rasping volley from 25 yards.
Henley came out with renewed vigour in the second half and got the reward of a consolation goal.
A fierce drive by Shane Small-King was kept out by keeper Sean Purcell, but Michael Turner forced the ball home.
Witney made it 5-1 when Craig Shand's drilled low shot was diverted into his own net by Henley defender Tristam Dennis.
Keyes completed his hat-trick from Cook's pass, before Tom Butler bundled the ball over the line for No 7.
Highworth Tn 1, Didcot Tn 3: Didcot had failed to score against the reigning champions Highworth for nearly four years, but it only took them 19 minutes to find the net.
Ian Concannon sent over an inch-perfect cross and Stuart Beavon's header flew over the out-stretched hand of Highworth keeper Elliot Jackson and into the top-corner.
Didcot doubled their advantage just before half-time, when Concannon's superb left-wing cross was headed in Andy Parrott.
Highworth's good spell just before half-time was rewarded with a goal from Stuart Bellinger.
A defensive slip gave Didcot a 3-1 lead and effectively decided the game with 19 minutes left. Bradley Ward broke clear and found the corner of the net, despite Jackson's best efforts.
Kidlington 0, Abingdon Town 1: Abingdon Town made the short trip to bottom-of-the- table Kidlington and snatched all three points, but the win was far from plain sailing.
Town started the game with a change in formation, with Tim Parker in at the back and Ellis Langford dropping to the bench. Up front, Paul Jezzard played alongside Tom Larman.
Kidlington started the stronger, with Luke Holden having three good chances, two of which were saved by Town keeper Jon Beames.
Langford came on at half-time and, following two more great stops from Beames, netted the winning goal in the 70th minute.
Spotting the keeper off his line, Langford who had drifted onto the right wing, rifled home a superb near-post shot.
Town had the ball in the net again after 75 minutes, but Larman's neat finish was ruled out for offside.
Abingdon Utd 0, Milton Utd 2: Second-half goals from Adam Greenaway and Scott Davis gave Milton a 2-0 victory in their derby clash at Northcourt Road.
Ardley Utd 1, Shortwood 1: Ardley came from behind to pick up a well-earned point at Shortwood.
After Shortwood took the lead, Ardley responded well when Tom Green lobbed the keeper from 20 yards
Shortly before half-time, Leeyon Phelan was unlucky when his header from 18 yards hit the inside post.
In the second half, Ardley were in complete control of the game, but could not beat the inspired Shortwood keeper.
