John Williams returned to his first club, Wootton & Boars Hill, and struck a spectacular double-century on Saturday.
The Oxford CC batsman, hammered 225 not out as Wootton rattled up a massive 304-3 in 35 overs during their friendly against Holton.
The former Cumnor player hammered 17 sixes and 20 fours in his amazing innings.
Holton replied with 196-4 from 40 overs - they were given five extra overs after Williams's magnificent knock.
