OCA League: Clifton Hampden duly wrapped up the Division 4 title on Saturday, but they were indebted to the rain in their abandoned match against championship rivals Radley.

Clifton went into the game on top, but a victory for Radley could have seen them take the title.

And Radley did everything gave themselves a chance by dismissing Clifton for just 133.

But the heavens opened during the tea interval, meaning no further play and handing the title to Clifton.

Charlbury's abandoned match at Marsh Gibbon in Division 2 saw them pick up the points they required to seal the second promotion spot.

Eynsham finished their campaign with a thrilling three-run victory against Watlington.

Olly Willans hit 69 in Eynsham's 176-8, and then youngster Sam Hollingshead claimed 5-54 as Watlington were restricted to 173-7.

Broughton & North Newington's walkover victory against Langford handed them the Division 3 title without a ball being bowled.

In Division 5, Swinbrook won their basement clash against Wolvercote by four wickets to move off bottom spot.

Wolvercote were restricted to 144-8, Tim Hook taking 3-38, before Charles Allen (46) and Graham Shrive (40no) steered Swinbrook to victory at 148-6.

Chalgrove's washout at Wantage saw them confirmed as Division 7 champions, with title rivals East Oxford 2nd suffering their first league defeat, losing by 15 runs at Shrivenham 2nd.

Senthil Muniyasany hit 87 not out as Shrivenham rattled up 187-6.

East Oxford were then bowled out for 172, with Nick Taylor claiming 4-24. RESULTS Division 1
