GLS Football Hellenic League - Winterbourne United 2, Letcombe 1: Letcombe were left to rue one moment of recklessness by Mark Rees which cost them at least a point in a battling display away to Division 1 West high-fliers Winterbourne.
A moment of hesitation in defence allowed Darren Andrews to run clear and open the scoring for Winterbourne.
But the visitors were level after 25 minutes. A defender climbed all over Adam Pendell from a free kick, and Richard Claydon scored from the resulting penalty.
The turning point of the game came in the last minute of the first half.
Rees was fouled, but he got up and aimed a kick at the culprit, and was rightly shown the red card.
Even with ten men, Letcombe defended well before Neil Ward headed Winterbourne's winner from a corner, when the visitors had nobody on the back post after making a substitution.
Headington Amateurs 0, Cirencester United 1: Headington suffered their first defeat of the season in a dour match.
After a dull first half, Cirencester exploded in to action at the start of the second period, with the winning goal through Hadgkiss.
Cirencester's defence resis- ted everything Headington could throw at them.
Openings for Amateurs were few and far between, while Cirencester were dangerous on the break.
Eton Wick 1, Bicester Tn 3: Mark Wickens was the star as Bicester Town won away to last season's Division 1 East champions.
The opening 25 minutes were played in a torrential downpour and produced a goal at either end.
The first came from Bicester's Allan Clark, who cut in from the left and steered a low shot into the corner after seven minutes.
Eton replied after 21 minutes through their skipper Stuart Walsh after a sustained ten-minute spell of pressure.
The second period saw Bicester come more into the game and the impressive Wickens was involved in two goals in three minutes.
First, he provided a cross for Lee Currie to fire into the roof of the net.
Minutes later, Wickens curled a shot from 25 yards beyond the reach of the home keeper to make it 3-1.
