FA Cup - Abingdon United 1, Dulwich Hamlet 1: Goalkeeper Nick Heritage's second-half penalty save earned Abingdon United a replay against their illustrious opponents from Ryman League Division 1.
The two sides were locked together at 1-1 when Dulwich substitute Williams went past four defenders, before being brought down by a fifth in the area.
A penalty was awarded, and although the spot-kick was struck well, Heritage dived full length to palm it away for a corner.
Heritage was making amends after his hesitation had allowed Dulwich a 15th-minute equaliser.
His indecision for a split second in coming for a floated free-kick from the left gave a Dulwich forward the chance to turn the ball it across goal past Heritage, and Richard Brady dived between two defenders to head home.
Abingdon had taken the lead after five minutes when Adam Hamp's cross was headed down by Scott Davis to Anaclet Odhiambo, who lashed the ball into the far bottom corner.
After Dulwich equalised, the visitors had most of play.
But Abingdon also had their chances with Dean Moss blazing over, while Hamp's sweetly struck shot was saved by the Dulwich keeper.
In the second half, Hamp went close when he diverted Ryan Curtin's low cross just past a post.
Williams, as well as winning the penalty, proceeded to cause Abingdon all sorts of problems as Dulwich pinned the home side back.
But Abingdon held on to earn a replay tomorrow.
