I have recently returned home from having a replacement hip operation and am so pleased with the operation that I would like to thank all the surgical, ward and administrative staff through the Oxford Mail.
I went into the Manor Hospital as an NHS patient on August 20 and left on August 24 with a hip replacement and at the time of leaving I was able to manage a shower, walk with crutches and go up and down stairs i.e. I was well prepared for home-life.
During my stay the explanation of the procedure, answering any questions and the recovery care assistance was excellent in every way, as was the quality of the food.
Having returned home I have received follow-up calls from the hospital to ensure that everything is progressing well... excellent care and attention.
We frequently hear of negative views from the public and in this case I wished to offer very sincere, warm praise to all the members of the surgical, ward and administrative teams who were exemplary in everything that was done for me.
Well done the Manor Hospital. Monica Smith, Milton Road, Shipton-under-Wychwood, Chipping Norton
