A PROTEST group has been revived in Oxford to campaign against the spectre of a second war in the Gulf.
Oxford Campaign Against War in the Gulf met last night in the city's Bonn Square to promote its cause. Member Mike Pixton said: "Our aim is to try and campaign to ensure no war breaks out and no attack is launched on Iraq.
"We do not think it is up to the United States or Britain to say what should happen in the Middle East or Iraq. It is up to the people of that region to get rid of their dictators."
Among those speaking in Bonn Square was campaigner Nuala Young
Campaigners believe an American-British attack would worsen the international refugee crisis.
They are also angry that the Government invests heavily in weapons while cutting education, health and welfare spending.
