ROBBERS armed with a knife and a tyre brace stole cash and cigarettes after threatening staff at a Wallingford off-licence.
Police said the two men walked into Unwins, in St John's Road, last night and forced open the till.
They made off with £190 and 200 cigarettes.
Detectives want to speak to anyone who saw the robbery or saw the men before or after they went into the shop.
The male employee, who was threatened, has given police a description of the two men.
The knife-wielding robber is described as 6ft tall with an athletic build. He was aged about 30, and was wearing a grey scarf over his face.
His accomplice is described as 6ft 4ins tall, 28, and skinny. He has a rough, stubbly, complexion and blond hair.
A Thames Valley Police spokesman said: "It was a frightening experience for the man working at the off-licence but he kept his head and managed to provide us with descriptions. We hope people will come forward."
