OXFORD United manager Malcolm Shotton, who has steered his side to victories over Portsmouth and Nottingham Forest since taking over, is close to signing a contract.
He said: "I have had a letter of confirmation of all the terms offered to me and there are just a couple of things that need tidying up.
"Once I have spoken to Keith Cox and we have got together, I can't see there being a problem.
"I think the board have been quite impressed with what they've seen so far."
