MONEY is continuing to flood in to help the kids of dying mum Tobi Mills.
Ten-year-old twins Ashton and Lauren, of Haldene Road, Blackbird Leys, drew up an advert for new parents willing to replace mum Tobi, 43, after she dies. Tobi has cancer and has been given weeks to live.
Last week we launched the Tobi Mills 10,000 Appeal which is raising money to set up a trust fund for the twins.
After seeing our appeal, The Sun stepped in to pay for the holiday, which means every penny donated by Mail readers can now go towards helping the children.
Another £500 arrived at our offices at the weekend, bringing the total sent to the Oxford Mail to almost £1,500. Oxford Carers' Centre, Cowley Road, has had more than £1,300 and donations have flooded been paid into the appeal bank account.
And we revealed on Saturday how more than 120 families had applied to foster the twins. - raising hopes that other needy youngsters will be found new homes.
Tobi said: "We have been overwhelmed by the response."
Donations can be made at any branch of Lloyds Bank, quoting sort code 30-12-51 and account number 0088442. Cheques, with cheques made payable to the Tobi Mills 10,000 Appeal. For details of fostering and adoption, call Oxfordshire social services on 01865 815347.
