THE Oxford Mail's appeal to help the children of dying mum Tobi Mills has topped the £3,000 mark.
Twins Ashton and Lauren, of Haldene Road, Blackbird Leys, drew up an advertisement for new parents willing to replace mum Tobi, 43, after she dies.
Tobi has cancer and has been given weeks to live.
Last week we launched the Tobi Mills 10,000 Appeal to pay for a dream family holiday at Disney World, Florida, and to set up a trust fund for the ten-year-olds.
After seeing our appeal, The Sun stepped in to pay for the holiday, which means every penny donated by Mail readers can now go towards helping the children.
Donations sent to the Oxford Mail, Oxford Carers' Centre, Cowley Road, and the appeal bank account now total more than £3,100.
Donations can be made at any branch of Lloyds Bank, quoting sort code 30-12-51 and account number 0088442, with cheques made payable to the Tobi Mills 10,000 Appeal. For details of fostering and adoption, call social services on 01865 815347.
