THIEVES escaped with a computer and television from Matthew Arnold School, Cumnor Hill, Oxford, yesterday morning.
They broke in by smashing a window.
Headteacher Elizabeth Howarth said: "The alarm went off and the caretaker was on site. So it looks like they only had time to take one or two items."
"We have only ever suffered attempted break-ins before this. The school has good security."
