OXFORD Mail chief reporter Chris Dignan scooped another journalism award last night.
Chris, who is also the Mail's health reporter, was awarded the Re- search Into Ageing's Health Span Writer of the Year title.
Judges praised his eye-witness account of a new brain surgery technique for sufferers of Parkinson's Disease.One of the judges commented: "One got it in a moment."
Editor Chris Cowley said today: "We have some of the best journalists in the UK at the Oxford Mail. Chris has shown yet again that he is one of those. We are proud of his achievement."
Last year Chris was voted UK reporter of the year in the Press Gazette Regional Press Awards.
