A SUPERSTORE manager has put up a reward in the hope of catching two men who robbed him of £300 and threatened staff with knives.
Brian Hawes, managing director of Chiltern Hills Supastore in Oakley Road, Chinnor, said: "I hope this will jog people's memories.
"It was a frightening experience for staff and we want these people caught."
He would not specify the amount of the reward on the advice of police but said it was 'substantial'.
The robbery took place on February 5 when two men wearing balaclavas broke into the back of the shop.
They waited until it closed for the day and then threatened staff with knives.
After snatching £300 from the till they went out and disappeared.
Mr Hawes said: "We assume they had a van or car parked up close by but no-one heard anything."
He said that, as they were wearing balaclavas and gloves, staff did not know whether the robbers were black or white and could give no descriptions.
Anyone who saw anything suspicious is asked to contact village policeman Alvin Head on 01844 352141 or Det Con Ann Dunbar on 01296 396310.
