A MAN ended up in hospital after asking a driver to move a jeep parked on the pavement.
The man, aged 30, who has not been named, was punched to the floor and kicked during the incident in Garsington Road, Cowley.
The attack happened at about 2.30pm on Tuesday but details were only released by police today
The victim suffered a deep cut to his chin which needed six stitches, five broken teeth and bad bruising.
Police spokesman Duncan McGraw said: "The man was walking along the road when he came across a yellow jeep blocking the pavement. When he asked a man standing nearby to move the vehicle an argument ensued and this ended in a fight."
The man's attacker is described as white, also in his 30s, 6ft tall and with short brown hair. It is thought he was with two other men and left the scene in the jeep.
