THE World Cup's been won already - by Bulgaria who beat Iran, shock qualifiers for the final.
At least, that was the way it panned out when local companies staged a mock finals four-a-side indoor football competition at the Aviators Health and Fitness Club, Kidlington.
Some 96 players took part with 16 teams representing two nations each. Both Bulgaria and Iran's players came from Elsevier Science Ltd.
"We followed the exact format of this summer's World Cup competition and it was a brilliant day out," said organiser Jason Biles who plans to run a similar event, but outdoors, in the winter.
As for England - who were represented by recruitment company Jobwatch - well, they were knocked out in the quarter-finals.
