AUSTRALIAN speedway international and former world No 2 Todd Wiltshire has agreed terms to join Gresham Oxford Cheetahs.
Promoter Steve Purchase was keen to end the speculation over the 29-year-old who is currently riding in Germany after winning the German title last year.
Purchase said: "It's time the speculation was put to rest. I have agreed personal terms with Todd, but him coming here is subject to approval from Reading promoter Pat Bliss who hold his registration, and a work permit."
Wiltshire is sure to add steel to Cheetahs fight to climb the Elite League where they are currently sitting on the bottom with only one win in six meetings.
The big question remains on who will make way for the Australian and it could be any one of three riders.
If all goes well Wiltshire should make his debut against Belle Vue a week on Sunday at the Stadium.
