New babies are not unusual at Harwell Fun Club mother and toddler group - but seven born within two months came as a bit of a surprise.
Liz Roberts, of Church Lane, whose second child Henry arrived earlier than expected on February 10, said: "They were all due to be born within about a month.
"Something must have happened in Harwell last June to cause such a baby boom!"
Unfortunately, only four were available when our chief photographer Dave Fleming dropped in on the Tuesday morning Fun Club at Harwell Village Hall.
But after Henry Roberts was born, came Keelan on February 16 whose mum is Sally Begley, of Westfield, and then Meredith on February 22 whose mum is Jenny Davies, of Milton Heights.
On March 12, Sarah MacGregor-Lambert, of Broadway, gave birth to Amazon; on March 16, Sam Osborn, of Wellshead, produced Phoebe, and the next day Fiona Tankard, of Manor Green, gave birth to Gemma.
Finally - for the time being anyway - Jack was born to Gilly Absolom, of Kings Lane, on April 2.
Families pay 80p to attend the weekly two-hour fun club sessions where there are toys, books, puzzles and crafts as well as games and singing. There are also regular visits by a health visitor and the club's own photographer.
