FOOTBALL crazy Nigel Wemyss has to be England's

number one van.

The 36-year-old, of Mallard Way, Grove, has decorated his old white Fiesta van with the cross of St George.

And he's used red electrical tape to print the slogans "Come on England" on the back and "Three Lions" on the sides of the vehicle.

He said: "Everybody who's seen it has said how well it's come out.

"Quite a few people have been flashing and waving. Sometimes if I come to a set of lights and look out of the corner of my eye, a lot of people are smiling and pointing."

Nigel, a Stoke City supporter, was taking the day off today to watch the England-Tunisia match from the comfort of the Bay Tree pub in Grove.

He added: "There will be a crowd of us there all kitted out in our England shirts. But I won't be taking the van as I will be having a few alcoholic beverages as well."
