OXFORD'S 12th seed Tim Henman will face Jiri Novak, a 23-year-old Czech ranked 86 in the world, in the opening round at Wimbledon next week.
British No 1 Greg Rusedski - the No 4 seed, meanwhile, wil be up against a qualifier if he recovers from the ankle injury he sustained at Queen's last week.
Top seed, and defending champion, Pete Sampras faces Dominik Hrbaty from Slovakia, while the pick of the matches in the opening round pitches big-serving Mark Philippoussis against Russian Yevgeny Kafelnikov.
Last year's beaten finalist Cedric Pioline has a tough opener against former Olympic champion Marc Rosset
