The wife of TV weatherman Bill Giles has spoken of her anguish after poison pen letters were sent to neighbours in their Oxfordshire village.
Maureen Giles said she even feared going to the shops after the fresh set of abusive letters about the popular BBC weather forecaster.
Mr Giles, 58, of Chinnor, said he had been plagued for seven years by letters.
Six of his neighbours in Chinnor received more anonymous letters during this week.
A police spokesman said: "The police have received reports of six anonymous letters sent to people in the past week.
"They are not targeted at individuals. They are the same letter sent to different addresses."
A woman is due to appear before Exeter magistrates next week charged with harassment.
