Never mind Buckingham Palace - if you want to spot a Royal at a garden party, Oxfordshire is the place to be.
The Princess Royal was in Oxford yesterday for the annual garden party at Green College, where she is honorary fellow.
Her visit came just three days after the Queen called in at Milton Hill House, near Abingdon, to meet 3,000 members of the Women's Royal Voluntary Service.
The Princess met college members and students before attending the annual meeting of the college's advisory council.
College warden Sir John Hanson said: "The Princess comes to this meeting and our garden party whenever possible and she was here last year."
