Friends and family of cancer mum Tobi Mills have asked the media not to go to her funeral tomorrow or intrude into the lives of her children, Ashton and Lauren.
Although Fiona Tarrant, of the Oxford Mail, and Jamie Pyatt, of The Sun, are attending as friends and at Tobi's request, no other journalists have been invited. Tobi, 43, of Haldane Road, Blackbird Leys, Oxford, died last week after a long battle against liver cancer.
Her children, who had written their own advertisement asking for new parents, have now moved to their new home after choosing a new mum.
Today's statement said: "We would like to state clearly that it was Tobi's wish - a wish that is fully supported by the guardians and social services - that there should be no media presence whatsoever at the funeral.
"We consider the stories and reporting regarding Tobi and her children will cease with her funeral and the twins, Ashton and Lauren, will be left to come to terms with their loss and begin to rebuild their lives with complete anonymity."
