OXFORD University put up a brave battle but eventually went down by 91 runs to Cambridge in the annual Varsity Match at Lord's yesterday.
The Light Blues set a challenging target of 290, but Oxford lost wickets steadily against Greg Loveridge .
And when Mark Waugh was caught for 43, their challenge faded away.
