Rowing cox Kathy Lewin steered her crew to victory in her last race despite carrying an extra passenger - she's six months' pregnant.
Kathy helped the crew from Wallingford Rowing Club to cross the line first at the Richmond Regatta in the Men's Novice Eight event. But she'll be giving up the sport now - because she can't fit inside the boat.
The 36-year-old, of Wood Street, Wallingford, is coached by her partner, Julian Wilder, and is expecting the couple's first child in early October.
"It was fantastic to win the race," said Kathy said: "The crew said I should keep coxing right up until the moment I give birth, but I decided not to."
Kathy and the crew all won tankards at Saturday's event, and the crew bought her champagne and flowers.
Julian said: "Maybe having ten in the boat rather than nine helps.
