Dad David Spicer forced his way into his ex-partner's home at 4am because he wanted to see his two-year-old daughter dressed as a bridesmaid.
Self-employed roof tiler Spicer, 27, of Market Place, Wantage, broke the lock on Anthea Sheron's front door when he burst into her home in May.
He pleaded guilty to causing criminal damage when he appeared at Wantage Magistrates' Court yesterday. He was given a 12 month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £40 costs.
Debby Clarke, defending, said Spicer heard that his daughter, Georgia, was to be a bridesmaid, and he wanted to see her in her dress.
