A man was taken to hospital after being stabbed in the back.
Police and an ambulance crew were called to a house in St Martin's Road, Rose Hill, Oxford, after the incident early today.
The 19-year-old victim was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, where he was said to be stable.
Police said his injuries were not life threatening.
A 17-year-old woman, believed to be the victim's girlfriend, was being questioned at St Aldate's police station. The ambulance service confirmed that a man was taken to hospital with stab wounds.
