A STIFF handicap failed to hamper Oxford duo Peter Little and David Arthur as they tasted victory in Saturday's second round of power boats Offshore 2000 series.
Last year's world two-litre champions started with a handicap based on early season performances.
A penalty of an extra 2.3 miles had to be wiped out by the fifth lap of Cardiff Bay and this was comfortably achieved without any loss of overall position.
By the closing stages, the Oxford duo were setting an average speed of more than 62mph.
Victory lifted the pair into fourth place overall in the championship chase.
