OXFORD United Res turned on the style with a 3-0. win to help North Leigh mark the opening of their new £100,000 changing block at Eynsham Park last night.
Anthony Wright fired Oxford in front from the penalty spot after 27 minutes after Christophe Remy, playing his first game since being sidelined with a calf injury, was fouled by North Leigh defender Mark Lewis.
United increased their lead before the break when triallist Desmond Boateng's right wing cross was sweetly volleyed past North Leigh keeper by a lively Simon Weatherstone, who scored Oxford's winner at Luton the previous night.
With Phil Whelan commanding in defence and David Smith shining in midfield, North Leigh struggled to make any impact.
And Oxford wrapped up victory in the second half when Remy broke down the right and squared the ball to Jamie Cook to shoot home from close range.
