Nurse David Allen has been struck off after creating a chilling computer sex game featuring female workmates.
Allen, 26, told police he created the game to boost his fantasies. A list of women's names on the computer was comprised of present and past colleagues.
The registered nurse worked at Oxford's Nuffield Orthapeadic Centre in Windmill Road before moving to Basildon General Hospital in August 1995. Last September, he was arrested after approaching two women in a Basildon subway wearing a mask made from women's tights.
In January this year, he pleaded guilty at Basildon Crown Court to having a hobby knife in a public place and using threatening words or behaviour. In a discarded rucksack nearby police found a camcorder, lengths of string, a razor and a change of clothing.
When they searched Allen's home they discovered the computer game.
Yesterday the Nurses' Professional Conduct Committee removed Allen from the nursing register. In a letter to the committee, Allen, of Timberlog Lane, Basildon, asked for help in overcoming his "psychological difficulties" but his plea was rejected.
After his arrest in September, he was remanded in custody until January 2 this year, when he was given bail.
He was then suspended by the hospital in Basildon until an internal disciplinary hearing in February when he was dismissed.
