OXFORD United's players are relishing their return to the Manor for this afternoon's Division 1 match with Wolves after kicking off the season with two away games.

"We always feel we can win at home," said Matt Murphy, who has hit three goals in the first two games. "We think we've got an advantage before we step out. The lads are very confident at the moment and are looking forward to Wolves."

United boss Malcolm Shotton is expected to recall Steve Davis and Andy Thomson after injury.

Wolves will have winger Steve Frogatt, who was only a substitute in the embarrassing 2-1 Worthington Cup defeat at Barnet, back in their starting line-up.

"We'll have to see what Wolves are like after losing at Barnet," said Murphy. "It can work one of two ways, it might stir them up and they might have had a real rollicking after that.

"But hopefully we can get a goal early doors and get their heads down, maybe thinking it's going to happen again."

Meanwhile, Kevin Francis, who was in hospital with an infection to his knee has recovered sufficiently to have been released.

He has been told to take it easy for a couple of days, but is expected to return to training Monday morning.

UNITED fans are reminded that there will be no tickets on sale today for the clash with Wolves.

Meanwhile, supporters have been advised that concessions for the August Bank Holiday Division 1 game at Barnsley will be available only from United before the day of the match.

Prices for the Oakwell game are £9 for over 65s and under 16s if bought in adavance. On the day concessionary tickets will cost £9.
