Les's life was ruined when he was falsely convicted of rape in 1995.
The 30-year-old Oxford man was jailed for four years and thrown into a cell block alongside paedophiles, murderers and genuine rapists.
He became suicidal and had to be put in a special cell where he was monitored 24 hours a day.
Meanwhile, his wife Kath gave birth to their sixth child without him and had to bring up the kids on her own with no money.
Six months later Les was freed by the Appeal Court after his conviction was overturned as unsafe.
To date, the girl who accused him has not been charged with perjury and he has not had any apology from the police, the Crown Prosecution Service or the courts.
Although he lost his job and a year's earnings, he is not eligible for a penny in compensation.
