Oxford University staff today evicted people squatting near the former LMS railway station in Oxford.
The three women and four men were living in the former Bretts burger bar next to the old station in Park End Street. The 15 roads protesters occupying the Grade II listed LMS building were not affected.
Stafford Taylor, a deputy surveyor for the University, said: "We were here at about 7.45am. We spoke to them last week and we spoke to the guys in the LMS station and said this is what we were going to do. It was full of drug addicts and it was a nuisance. I can't tell you what we are going to do at the station building."
One of the LMS protesters, David, told the Oxford Mail the people living in the burger bar had been part of the LMS protest but had been kicked out of the building by other squatters because of their drug abuse.
He said he doubted if they would be evicted just yet from the LMS bulding and added: "It could cost them £1m to keep the place secure while we wait to see if there's going to be a public inquiry."
