GRESHAM Oxford Cheetahs will be seeking to keep their slim play-off hopes alive with victory over a weakened King's Lynn Knights in speedway's Elite League at the Stadium tonight (7.45).
The Knights will be lacking two former Oxford stars in Simon Wigg and Thomas Topinka.
Wigg suffered his fifth injury of the season when crashing against Poole last week, and Topinka has been ruled out for the season after suffering back injuries in the Czech Championships.
They bring in Reading's exciting youngster Lee Richardson and Wolves' George Stancl.
To have any chance of making the Craven Shield play-offs, Oxford must keep winning and Swindon, who have a four-point lead, must drop points.
Cheetahs are at full strength.
Oxford: Crump, Johnston, Wiltshire, Hurry, Schofield, Staechmann.
King's Lynn: Parker, Protasiewicz, Stancl, Richardson, Brhel, Howe.
CHEETAHS Cubs Marc Norris and Gary Phelps finished one and two respectively in the Stars of Tomorrow Trophy at Swindon last night after beating Swindon's Seemond Stephens and John Jefferies in a sudden-death final.
Glen Phillips finished joint 11th with four points.
