A bearded robber escaped with cash after threatening staff at a betting shop.
The man entered Ladbrokes, in Cowley Road, Oxford, at about 10.15am yesterday and told staff hand to over the contents of the till.
He ran off in the direction of Union Street after grabbing an undisclosed amount of cash.
The raider was described as black, about 6ft tall, and of medium build.
He had several days' growth of beard which had been twisted into a dreadlock style. He was wearing a blue sports top with a drawstring hood pulled up to obscure his features and grey trousers. He carried a white French Connection bag with the logo 'Fcuk' in black lettering.
