The funeral of Joanne Clarke, the Oxfordshire holidaymaker murdered by a suspected serial killer on a Caribbean holiday island, was taking place today.
Joanne, of Warwick Road, Banbury, was being cremated after a ceremony in the town.
Her body was found on a beach on Paradise Island in the Bahamas last month. She had been strangled.
At least 300 friends, family, staff and students of north Oxfordshire College, where Joanne's parents Susan and Alan work, were attending the humanist ceremony at the college in memory of the 24-year-old graduate's life.
