A young woman shop assistant was threatened with a knife during a robbery at a Co-op store.
The robbery, which left the lone assistant at the store in Church Road, Wheatley, shocked but not hurt, happened at 7.30pm on Saturday.
The man walked into the store wearing a red fleece jacket and black balaclava. He had a local accent and was about 6ft tall.
Police say he had a particularly violent manner and left the shop assistant severely shaken, before making off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
