A pensioner was left shocked and shaken after two masked robbers forced their way into her home and ransacked it looking for cash.
The 73-year-old answered the door to two men at her home in Normandy Crescent, Cowley.
One of the masked men held her down while the other ransacked the house. They fled with £400 cash.
A police spokesman said: "She was not seriously hurt but she was very shaken. This was a terrible act against an OAP."
Police are appealing for witnesses after the incident. It happened at 2.15pm on Sunday but was not reported until yesterday. Anyone with information is asked to call police on 01865 266333.
