Intrepid sailor Bob Dyer has hit another snag in his attempt to start his round-the-world trip - Hurricane Georges.
Bob, of Upperhill, Moulsford, near Wallingford, has been planning to set sail in his converted hospital steel tower, Pipedream, for almost a year - but has been continually thwarted by the weather.
Now, the 25-year-old must wait until Hurricane Georges, currently causing havoc in Florida, has blown itself out before he can sail across the Atlantic on the first stage of his adventure.
Bob, who is living on the 40ft trimaran in Falmouth, Cornwall, originally planned to start the trip in October last year.
