OXFORD United fans thinking they would have to rush to get their ticket in advance for Tuesday night's Division 1 game against West Brom at the Manor Ground need not worry - the game has been de-regulated and is no longer all-ticket.
Supporters of both clubs will therefore be able to pay cash on the turnstiles for standing places, with seat tickets available from United's ticket office.
Said United secretary Mick Brown: "By yesterday morning, West Brom had only sold 500 tickets so we asked the police if we could change it being all-ticket and I'm pleased to announce they agreed."
Meanwhile, Matt Murphy looks likely to be given a place on the bench at best in today's game against QPR at the Manor.
He showed a clear lack of fitness when he returned to training following his two-week lay-off with a hamstring injury.
Christophe Remy was, along with Murphy, named in an 18-man squad for the game after coming through two reserve matches without a reaction to his calf injury.
But manager Malcolm Shotton's selection problems increased overnight with Paul Powell suffering from a tooth infection.
