OXFORD City's exciting striker Jermaine McSporran is set to spend a dream week training with Premiership champions Arsenal.
The 21-year-old forward, who has been terrorising Ryman League defences this season with his lightning pace, is also understood to have attracted interest from two other Premiership clubs.
However, it is Arsenal who have offered him the chance to spend five days - probably next week - training with their star-studded squad.
When asked whether rumours that McSporran was being courted by a string of Premiership clubs were true, City chairman Mick Woodley said: "Yes. It is still early days, but there is no denying that there is a great deal of interest in him.
"We have had numerous approaches, but have purposefully waited for a top club to come in.
"In the last ten days we have been approached by three Premiership clubs. He is now going to spend a week with Arsenal.
"Whatever, it will be a tremendous experience for Jermaine."
Woodley added that Oxford United had also made a further inquiry about McSporran but, as Malcolm Shotton has no money to spend on players, it's unlikely he will be going to the Manor.
Earlier this season Portsmouth were also watching McSporran, who joined City from Abingdon Town for £1,000 last season, when he signed a three-year contract.
If he was to move on from Court Place Farm, he could easily break the record £20,000 transfer fee that City received from Yeovil for Howard Forinton.
Meanwhile, City have been boosted by striker Stewart McCleary's decision to reject a move to local rivals Thame United, who had put in a seven-day approach for him.
