A long-awaited bypass will finally open on Friday with a cavalcade led by six vintage cars.
Tingewick, near Banbury, is the last village on the A421 to be bypassed, and the £13.25m link, which has taken two years to build, is part of a proposed route linking Banbury to Milton Keynes and the M1.
The vintage cars, from the Chipping Norton-based Vintage Sports Car Club, will tour the bypass after a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
