THE exodus from Bicester RFC continued this week with news that coach Adam Wade and former captain Darren Cassidy have left to join Henley.
During the summer, the coach John Brodley and experienced flanker Gary Few departed to Chinnor.
As a result, Wade, forced by injury to stop playing, was appointed coaching administrator.
Now he, too, is on his way following an apparent disagreement.
"I understand Adam's joined the coaching staff at Henley," said Bicester stalwart Simon Grater. "It's disapppointing, but if somebody wants to leave, we're not going to stand in his way."
Cassidy, who missed the early part of the season when he changed sports to become assistant manager of Bicester Town, joins Henley as a 2nd XV prop.
He played just one game for Bicester this season - at centre!
In the absence of Wade, Grater, along with Steve Prosser and skipper Ray Greenhalgh, will run team affairs.
With Greenhalgh away, Grater will skipper the depleted side in their NPI intermediate Cup visit to Windsor tomorrow.
