ARE Simon and Ross Weatherstone the first brothers to play together for Oxford United at the Manor Ground at senior level since Ron and Graham Atkinson?
They turned out for United's Reserves against Tottenham at the Manor on Wednesday night, the first time they have appeared together in the reserves at home.
It got many fans racking their brains and the Weatherstones, from Woodcote, were left wondering as well.
Second-year trainee Ross, 17, started the game at right back and 18-year-old Simon, who has already scored twice for the first team, continued his return from illness by coming on as a sub up front.
"We did play once together at QPR last season when Ross came on as a sub," said Simon, "but yes, this is the first time at the Manor."
Big Ron and Graham Atkinson played 781 first-team games between them for United.
