OXFORD City's Jermaine McSporran today signed for Division 2 strugglers Wycombe Wanderers for an undisclosed sum.
The 21-year-old forward, who has been attracting a host of clubs and scored twice for Arsenal Reserves during a recent trial at Highbury, has been handed a three-and-a-half year deal.
The Blues and City have not revealed a fee, but it's understood to be a club record between £50,000-£100,000, also involving sell-on clauses.
McSporran said: "I am very excited and looking forward to it. I have been in non-League for the last three or four years, so it is my first chance to give it a go."
His transfer will also give cash-strapped Abingdon Town a boost as they are set to receive 35 per cent of the fee following a clause in his £1,000 transfer to City a year ago.
