OXFORD University rugby captain Dave Kelaher has given up his fitness battle and misses their attractive game against the touring Fijians at Iffley Road tonight (7.30).
The Australian flanker, who has not played since injuring a knee on the pre-season tour of South Africa, is replaced at open side by Irishman Richard Heaslip.
The Dark Blues are forced to make one other late change, as big No 8 Mark Challender has not recovered from a hamstring strain. His place is taken by the less imposing, but speedy Japanese player Takuro Miuchi.
Fiji, skippered by Canterbury Super 12 hooker Greg Smith, beat Penzance and Newlyn 53-5 on Sunday in the first match of their short tour.
Because of car parking restrictions, spectators are advised to arrive early or find an alternative means of transport.
