Police are trying to trace the owners of two expensive mountain bikes recovered in the area.
A distinctive 21-gear Raleigh Max, worth £400, with a yellow frame, was found by police near Bicester North railway line and is being kept at the town's police station.
And during a search of a house in Banbury, a £600 man's black Cannondale mountain bike was seized.
Pc Matt Jenkins said: "I'm a keen cyclist and these are both high-quality bikes. We want to return them to their rightful owners."
