Any remaining rain in the southeast will soon move away to leave most of England and Wales dry with clear spells and light winds. However, it will turn cold with some patchy frost and pockets of dense fog by morning, particularly in central and eastern England. TOMORROW (WEDNESDAY): Western parts of England and Wales will have some sunshine, but showers will soon break out. The rest of England and Wales will be mostly dry with some sunshine developing after the slow clearance of early fog and frost, although scattered showers may spread from the west in the afternoon. OUTLOOK FOR THURSDAY AND FRIDAY: Becoming mild but quite cloudy with occasional drizzly rain in the south and east and some steadier rain in the north-west.
