LAND Rover is recalling 10,500 of its Freelander models in the UK because of a rear suspension problem. The recall involves vehicles built before June 1998 and concerns the welding in the joints of the rear suspension arms. The company said there had been only two incidents of vehicles experiencing suspension difficulties and neither involved an accident or injury. Owners have been contacted and the necessary work will be carried out free.
